The Kissing Hand

The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn has become a new tradition in our family at the start of the school year.  This sweet, tender book was given to my daughter a year ago by a good friend.  This year before the start of preschool we read our book over and over by request of my daughter.  Then, we made kissing hand cookies right before school.  They each had a cookie in their lunch on the first day of school.  Since my husband is a teacher, he got a cookie on his first day of school too!
