Much to be thankful for

We had a very nice Thanksgiving again at our friends, Jason and Rachel's home.  This year, my husband really enjoyed putting together a Thanksgiving reading that we read before our meal.  Everyone participated and as an added bonus, Rachel played the piano for Amazing Grace at the end.  I have many things to be thankful for.  Top four on my list:

Brownies

Who knew making a box of brownies could be so much fun?  The kids LOVE pouring out the ingredients, mixing and, of course, trying the batter.

Pirates and Princesses

Our Halloween this year was really fun!  We always do a firepit outside our house and make s'mores as our "treat"!  And the kids had so much fun.  Corinne wanted to be a farmer for one day then the princess or queen won out.  And she picked out Cale's sweet pirate costume!  Los of fun!

The Beach

I know this post is way overdue.  But the kids and I had a great time at the beach in October.  The weather was perfect- in the 80s and overcast.  We could be out for hours and not even think about getting a burn.  Corinne and Caleb loved playing in the sand.  Corinne found the water on our last day- and realized she loved it.  Can't wait to go back!
