Super Simple Advent Calendar

I wanted to create an Advent calendar for us to countdown to Christmas this season.  As always, my time ran short of all the ideas I thought I would try.  But I think this super simple version will turn out just great.  I used the calendar we already had up and added numbers with notes inside of something new to do every day before Christmas.  Some ideas are my own and some are from Passionate Homemaking and Children's Learning Activities.  Here is our list:
1- Listen to Christmas Music
2- Help mom put together Christmas cards to send (Corinne is adding the stickers on the outside!)
3- Help decorate the Christmas tree
4- Read a new Christmas book
5- Sort Christmas trinkets
6- Help mom bake Christmas treats
7- Make a Christmas ornament
8- R is for Reindeer
9- Make a glitter pine cone
10-Make popcorn and cranberry garland
11- finish and hang garland
12- Wrap stocking gifts
13- Color a Christmas picture
14- Make a memory ornament
15- Make Krispie Treat Trees
16- Watch Veggie Tales a Christmas Star
17- Make a Jesus basket to give to a neighbor
18- Make Candy Cane play doh to give to classmates
19- Call the grandparents and sing a Christmas song
20-Take Christmas treats to a nursing home
21- Sing Christmas carols around the tree
22-Make a gingerbread house
23- Drive around to look at Christmas lights
24- Watch the nativity story
25- Re-enact the Christmas story and drink hot chocolate
