Precious Feet

Are these sweet or what?  A friend of mine gave me three painted frames for Benjamin's birth.  One of the frames had the poem below in it. The plan was to have Ben's hand print in one frame, Ben's foot print in one frame and the poem in another.  But with two other kids in the house, when I got out the stamp supplies, everyone got excited.  So instead we did a foot print for everyone. And they look really precious together.  I'll keep the poem in mind for future gifts... it's just perfect.

It's Working

We have two things that we dded that have been working- especially for our morning routine.  On the back of one of our doors, we put a shoe holder to place all kids of things that we need in the morning- toothbrush/ toothpaste, hairbrushes, lotion, hair ties.  It let's the little ones go get their own stuff and keeps it out of our smallish bathroom.  We also have the kids' outfits hanging in the hallway. That way- even at bedtime the night before they know what they are going to wear. It cuts down on a lot of tears in the AM!

We have found that we just love Costco- for everything from frozen treats to Halloween costumes. Here are just a few things we buy:

Kirkland Paper towels- best on the market

Kirkland toilet paper- not as high quality as the towels but great price. They have Charmin too

Family of Five

Tree Trunks

It's so sad but my ankles have actually turned into tree trunks the last couple of weeks!  I know a lot of pregnant girls go through this phenomenon- but with my other two- I never experienced it, so now it's really something that bothers me.  They don't even look that much better in the morning! At least it will only be for a time and it will be nice to see skinny ankles in a couple weeks even if nothing else is skinny by then!
